Learning to row

Thanks for the music!

Stinky, but cute.

This year for SPRING BREAK a bunch of kids went on a river trip down Cataract Canyon. It was so great to be on the water, outside in the fresh air for five whole days. We were on the Colorado River and paddled from Moab to Lake Powell. I can't believe how much I absolutely love the the river and all it has to offer. We went on a few hikes, ate yummy food, played games a plenty, and brushed up on our yoga skills. Matt and Phil provided live music for all. The canyon provided beauty for all. The groover provided comfort for all. I paddled through a few rapids, providing fright for all. Thanks to Matt Cline for the photos. Enjoy...

Think Green!

Today I had to park at a meter. The only problem, there was no change anywhere in the car. I thought, What am I going to do? I got out of my car to start searching under the floor mats. Just then, out of the corner of my eye, I noticed the last person to park in that spot left a good half hour on the count down clock.
Coincidence: NO
Luck O the Irish: YES
Always happy to be Irish!
Happy St. Patricks Day!

Flight of the Footloose...

Who needs Footloose when you have Flight of the Concords? If you liked Kevin Bacon, hopefully you will love Bret. I had a hard time not laughing out loud in the library. Enjoy...

The Next Big One...

I saw this little advertisement at KSM which is the local music shop in Logan. I am pretty sure this is the most motivated 11-14 year old I have ever seen. I know the picture is kinda hard to read. This is a result of the combination of a camera phone, which I borrowed from a friend, and multiple write and erase marks on the paper. This is what they are looking for:
A lead Guitarist, Drummer, and bass all full time. Plus one song writer, part time only please.
Some experience is needed, and you must be between the ages of 11-14, so sorry to all you old-timers out there.

Bienvenidos a Blogland

Well, my little friend Ashwipe Aland migrated to blogland last night. It was wonderful. We have proof...and handmade mittens.
